With every event we take on, we aim to recreate the warmth and generosity of the Mediterranean through our modern middle eastern food and to bring the ethos of the cuisine to foodies as often as possible, in the comfort of their homes, offices and at as many interesting locations as possible. 

We pride ourselves in customisation and work closely with our clients to construct the perfect event, providing complete turnkey event management from menu development, to location sourcing and booking, to flower arrangements, venue set-up and event staff.

MEET THE CHEF

Meet Founder Maria Bizri

Chef and owner, Maria Bizri, launched Pomegranate in Hong Kong in 2011. From her grandparents’ Middle Eastern kitchen through to her extensive travels across the world and the many years spent in Asia, Maria is always incorporating elements of a diverse range of cuisines into an ever expanding repertoire of dishes.


Maria's food, like her, is rooted in Middle Eastern and North African traditions, though always presented it with a modern twist.  Her ethos is that of plentifulness and generosity in both flavour and presentation, with an ever detectible extra punch. 

Food for Maria, is an expression of love and home. A warm and happy place where she likes to take her diners to.
